If this is the future of comic book movies, then count me in. Iron Man was fantastic - brilliant acting (in a comic book movie??), amazing action sequences (that’s something I haven’t said in a while because it’s all the same - this broke the mold!), and a good establishing story for what I’m sure will be many, many returns.
I heard a bit of chatter about the fact that Tony Stark isn’t really a super-hero because he’s just wearing a suit. Well… could you have built the Iron Man suit on top of a fusion reactor to serve as your heart while locked in a cave?? That’s super-hero to me!
This movie could not have come at a better time for our gadget-obsessed culture. I was waiting to see the Iron Man suit with a mac logo on the back.
If I promise to go see it again will they push up the release date of IM2 at least a few months? Please??
I’ve been waiting for a movie like this for a long time.
